Vintage Mother of Pearl Hand Painted Link Bracelet from the Middle East from the 1940's. It has twelve mother of pearl panels carved so that a small rectangle is risen above the base. The panels are connected together through wires drilled through the panels. Each panel is a miniature painting drawn with a single brush hair under a magnifying glass and display people, animals and flowers.
The bracelet closes with a tongue-in-groove clasp that tests as silver and is original to the bracelet. The bracelet is in good vintage condition, but there is some loss to the paint in a few places. This is a lovely old bracelet akin to wearing a miniature art gallery on your wrist.
