Here's a fabulous antique Victorian 12kt gold filled D.F. Briggs serpentine pocket watch chain with a 12kt gold filled J. & C. N. Co. Cigar Cutter Fob.  Both pieces are in excellent condition, with no damage.  

The chain by itself measures 16 1/2 inches in length,  with an additional  4 3/4 inch small attached chain with a gold tag for engraving.   The cigar cutter pocket knife is 2 1/2 inches in length.  It is hallmarked on the end clip with "D.F.B.", which is the hallmark for the D. F. Briggs Co.  The cigar cutter is hallmarked on the bail "J.&C.N.CO.", as well as the blade having the hallmark of "Meriden" for the Meriden Knife Co.  It also has a blank cartouche for engraving, and is in fantastic condition.  

This is a gorgeous pocket watch chain and fob that would be fully functional for todays use.  A great gift idea for a groom.
